Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Commercial Security Installation Technician III to join our on-site team in Seattle. You will assist the Project Manager with scheduling, connect control panels, install security systems, and ensure installations meet contract requirements.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in physical security or related field, state licensing, and strong troubleshooting, communication, and MS Office skills. Overnight travel may be required; valid driving record required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in physical security, fire alarm or low voltage industry installing field devices, programming systems, and managing medium to large jobs.
• Experience with security systems and software is preferred: list includes Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh, ONSSI.
• Possess or be able to obtain proper state licensing (Low Voltage D license, Alarm Installer Lic.)
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment.
• Connect control panels, wire concealment, and install security software.
• Install, configure, and program commercial electronic security systems for enterprise clients.
• Troubleshoot new installations to ensure proper operation and code compliance.
• Supervise installation teams and manage multiple medium- to large-sized projects within hours and margin tolerances.
• Travel to client sites with company vehicle and ensure systems operate as required.
