Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Security Incident Response Executive to lead a new incident response function focused on major incidents affecting employees, locations and executives. You will design processes, build a high‑performing team, and coordinate with enterprise security and law enforcement.

The role reports to the Head of Global Corporate Security & Executive Protection and requires strategic leadership across multinational teams and complex security programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate security, incident management, or related leadership roles.
• Experience leading complex security programs in a large, matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to design and sustain enterprise incident response frameworks.
• Ability to build a new function from concept to execution with governance.
• Executive-level communication to senior leaders on incidents and risk.
• External security, law enforcement or private-sector partnership experience.
• Ability to travel and work irregular hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Establish a multi-phased strategy for incident response aligned to physical threats.
• Deliver documentation, playbooks, and reporting; drive KPIs and risk indicators.
• Set enterprise processes and controls under policy standards.
• Lead as primary accountable crisis leader during incidents with executive communications.
• Collaborate with Global Information Security, Protective Intelligence, and other teams.
• Leverage confidential intelligence to mitigate threats and inform actions.
• Engage with law enforcement and intelligence partners internationally.
• Maintain relationships with internal/external intelligence teams for threat awareness.
• Coordinate with Executive Protection and Major Events leadership.
• Develop recommendations for senior management based on incident findings.
