Stripe, Inc. is seeking an experienced Security Incident Responders to analyze and respond to security events across company devices and cloud infrastructure. You will triage, assess severity, and coordinate remediation with investigators to protect Stripe’s data and systems.

The role emphasizes scaling threat analysis, tuning detection capabilities, and improving data feeds. Collaboration with multiple teams and a strong emphasis on automation and quality processes are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information technology or cyber security roles including incident response.
• 2+ years analyzing large data sets for security event triage or investigations.
• Experience triaging threats on endpoints (Mac/Linux/Windows) and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Bachelor's or higher in Cyber Security, CS, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Scripting or programming in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Proficiency with log querying and analysis in SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, Chronicle, Elastic).
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Collaborate with Security teams to analyze events at scale and protect Stripe networks and data.
• Interpret diverse data sources to report trends and support investigations.
• Gather requirements to enhance detection models and response systems.
• Leverage data to improve detection and triage through automation and data enrichment.
• Provide actionable insights to identify, prevent, detect, and respond to anomalous activity.
• Lead projects, mentor teammates, and promote quality operational standards.
