Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced Incident Response Manager to safeguard its financial ecosystem by leading end-to-end fraud and abuse incident response. You will investigate high-risk activity, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, and drive improvements in detection and playbooks.

You will partner with security, data science, legal, and policy teams to deliver effective response solutions and mentor teammates while elevating response standards across the team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading security or fraud incident response (10+ years).
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; familiarity with other languages.
• Experience with log analysis, network security, digital forensics, and investigations.
• Proven ability to build automated response workflows and leverage threat intelligence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead fraud and abuse incident response end-to-end as Incident Response Manager.
• Investigate high-risk activity and accounts; coordinate workstreams and mitigation.
• Develop incident response strategies, runbooks, and capabilities to improve detection.
• Collaborate with security, data science, legal, and policy teams on response solutions.
• Mentor teammates and drive key incident response engineering projects.
