Job summary

Cencora is seeking a senior information security engineer to protect enterprise data and systems. The role leads threat detection, incident response, and risk management initiatives across multi‑platform environments.

The position requires 8+ years in information security, with a Bachelor's in a IT-related field or equivalent experience. On-site work in the Montgomery County, PA area is expected, with a robust benefits package available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of directly-related or relevant experience in information security.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Analyzes trends, news and changes in threat and compliance environment with respect to organizational risk.
• Advises organization management and develops and executes plans for compliance and mitigation of risk.
• Oversees risk and compliance self-assessments and engages third-party risk/compliance assessments.
• Oversees response to information system security incidents, investigations, countermeasures and recovery.
• Engages with third-party incident responders and coordinates remediation efforts.
• Develops security controls and procedures across lifecycle of information systems to meet compliance.
• Provides guidance to network and system admins and automates security operations for compliance.
• Leads enterprise-wide security policy implementation across platforms and applications.
