Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Senior Staff Security Engineer to advance security across product and infrastructure for the Treasury BU. You will own the security posture from assessment through remediation, drive threat modeling, and shape the secure software delivery lifecycle.

Expect collaboration with product and engineering leaders to implement zero-trust, encryption, and rapid vulnerability response. You will mentor engineers, scale security capabilities, and stay ahead of fintech and crypto threat

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Security Engineering experience in product and infrastructure security.
• Expert-level threat modeling using STRIDE or equivalent.
• Deep expertise securing cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and IAM, network security, containers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Ripple Treasury to drive secure design, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and cloud security architecture.
• Own secure SDLC for your product surface area, define guardrails and CI/CD integrations.
• Lead threat modeling and security architecture reviews across Treasury offerings.
• Drive cloud security architecture including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and zero trust controls.
• Mentor Security Engineers and build a Security Champions program within Treasury Engineering.
