Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to help validate that AWS services, applications, and websites are designed and implemented to high security standards. You will analyze security of applications, discover issues, build automation, and mentor others as part of a collaborative AWS IT Security team.

You will participate in planning, improve security processes, and contribute to a high bar for security across Amazon’s products and services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-internship experience troubleshooting systems and analyzing logs.
• Experience identifying security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques is a plus.
