Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) seeks a Security Engineer III to design and implement defense-in-depth security across endpoints, identity, cloud, and network layers.

You will own the security tooling portfolio from deployment to ongoing management, including EDR, MDR, and SIEM, and set secure baselines for ASI systems. You will lead incident investigations, coordinate responses, and serve as the senior escalation point with minimal day-to-day oversight, ensuring robust security coverage across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5–10 years in security engineering, architecture, or operations.
• Experience designing defense-in-depth across endpoints, identity, network, and cloud.
• Hands-on with deploying and administering EDR and SIEM.
• Experience leading security investigations and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement layered security architecture spanning endpoints, identity, email, network, and cloud controls.
• Manage tooling portfolio across EDR, MDR, and SIEM platforms.
• Extend tooling coverage to email and web security and vulnerability management.
• Evaluate new platforms, define requirements, run pilots, and recommend vendors.
• Own security platforms end to end from deployment to tuning and management.
• Tune SIEM rules, log sources, and alerts to widen detection and reduce false positives.
• Define secure baselines to harden systems across the environment.
• Lead investigations and responses to significant security incidents.
