Job summary
Ladders is seeking a senior security engineer to strengthen our security posture across products, infrastructure, and enterprise systems. You will partner with engineering to bake security into development and delivery workflows, shaping incident readiness and automating security operations with AI-driven tools.
Location is remote in the US with no visa sponsorship. Compensation ranges from $225,000 to $275,000 annually, with equity and strong benefits including parental leave and a development
Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years in security engineering or related field with strong security focus.
- Proficient in integrating security into product and infrastructure development.
- Experience with AI-driven security tooling and automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and drive security solutions across product, infra, and enterprise systems.
- Conduct threat modeling for existing systems and new initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering to embed security into dev and delivery workflows.
- Automate security alerts, detections, observability, and incident response using AI agents.
- Participate in incident response and lead on-call rotations.
- Support governance, compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI) and regulatory efforts.
- Mentor engineers and promote security best practices.
