The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a Senior Associate, Security Engineering in Chicago to strengthen our cybersecurity posture. You will manage privileged access systems (CyberArk, Vault, PKI), implement AI-based security capabilities, and help shape security architecture within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include 24x7 support for privileged access tools, infrastructure maintenance, and driving secure automation across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization systems including AD, oAuth 2.0, OIDC, AWS IAM, App Role, k8s, LDAPS, Kerberos, Certificate.
• Experience with cloud ecosystems and CI/CD deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins pipelines.
• Understanding of security architecture principles (confidentiality, integrity, availability).
• Hands-on experience supporting CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, ADCS, PKI and related security tooling.
• Proficient scripting in GoLang, Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Experience in security operations, development, engineering, or architecture.
• Experience supporting privileged access management and access controls programs.
• Familiarity with AI coding agents (OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI).

Responsabilités

• Provide 24x7 operational support for privileged management solutions (CyberArk, Hashi, PKI).
• Implement hot fixes, troubleshoot issues, manage secrets lifecycle, and user support.
• Maintain the lifecycle of privileged access management infrastructure with patching and upgrades.
• Contribute to system enhancements and automated integrations under guidance of senior staff.
