Job summary

Anaplan Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer III to join the Security Operations team in San Francisco. You will design, build, and improve capabilities that detect, investigate, and respond to threats, bridging engineering and operational practice.

You will own SSPM rollout, endpoint vulnerability management, and network security for office and corporate environments, collaborating with IT and infrastructure to harden systems and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise security with protecting systems, endpoints and networks.
• Hands-on with SSPM tooling and SaaS misconfiguration risk understanding.
• Experience with vulnerability scanners and remediation workflows.
• Expertise in email security controls (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• DNS and web security deployment and protection.
• Knowledge of network security principles and vendors.
• Ability to communicate security risks to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS benchmarks, ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Drive SSPM rollout and remediation across SaaS apps.
• Own endpoint vulnerability lifecycle from scanning to remediation.
• Design and improve office and corporate network security posture.
• Administer and optimize email security controls.
• Manage DNS security and web security gateways.
• Own day-to-day security tooling administration.
• Ensure tooling integration and alert fidelity.
• Collaborate with IT and infra teams on security projects.
• Support risk assessments, policy development, security awareness.
