Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer to join the Security Operations Center in an onsite capacity at Hawthorne, CA. You will design and maintain security controls, authentication services, and automation across SpaceX systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years with Python/Go/C#/Rust and deep experience with enterprise security, PKI, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and hardware security modules. Onsite work only, with comprehensive benefits and long-term incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM, or 2+ years security software experience in lieu.
• 5+ years of experience with Python, Go, C#, or Rust.
• 5+ years designing and implementing security solutions for large-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain security solutions for SpaceX systems, networks, and data.
• Manage authentication and identity services, including MFA and identity servers.
• Develop automation and scripts to support information security across SpaceX.
• Support network security, WAFs, and cloud security policy enforcement.
• Serve as SME for security technologies and document best practices.
