Job summary

EnergySage is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to fortify application security through hands-on work and strategic initiatives. You will implement security measures, develop IaC templates, configure monitoring, and lead security training across the team.

You will collaborate with IT and Platform teams, manage security alerts, participate in audits, and contribute to architecture reviews to strengthen overall security posture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in writing and deploying secure code, including proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to integrate security into legacy systems and ensure high-quality, reviewable pull requests.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Security Enhancements: write code and develop IaC solutions; create and maintain security reference implementations.
• Monitoring and Incident Management: set up security alerting, triage findings, elevate critical issues.
• Training and Development: lead security training sessions and design disaster recovery exercises.
• Collaborative Security Leadership: work with IT/Platform teams on secure configurations; engage with security audits, scans, and assessments; contribute to architecture reviews.
