Job summary

Think Consulting is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer to close the gap between a fast-scaling technology estate and its security controls.

You will design, build, and operate preventive and detective controls across identity, endpoint, email, cloud, network, and data protection, and lead acquisition integrations onto company standards. This hands-on role requires owning incident response, strengthening security across multi-cloud environments, and delivering audit-ready evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 7+ years in information security, with at least 3 in hands-on security engineering owning production controls.
• Deep experience with a modern cloud security stack and enterprise-scale configuration.
• Demonstrated incident response leadership from detection through post-incident review.
• Strong foundation in identity & access engineering and least-privilege enforcement.
• Practical experience running vulnerability management with SLA-driven remediation.
• Knowledge of recognized control frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls) and audit-grade evidence.
• Scripting/automation to security operations (PowerShell, Python).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical security architecture across identity, endpoint, email, network, cloud, and data.
• Lead security engineering for major programs including ERP, data platform, AI deployment, and integrations.
• Build and enforce secure-by-default reference patterns and hardening baselines.
• Own the MDR/SOC relationship and tune detections and response. Engineer detections and logs in a modern SIEM/XDR stack.
• Act as incident commander during security incidents and drive post-incident reviews.
• Run tabletop exercises and convert findings into engineering work.
• Translate audit and insurance requirements into implemented controls with evidence.
