Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, develop, and implement security solutions that strengthen AWS Global ProServe's security posture.

You will build automated security mechanisms to monitor AWS interactions with customers and guide secure architectures across complex engagements. You will mentor junior engineers, serve as a security thought leader, and drive continuous improvements while applying security engineering best practices across domains.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-internship background in troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating complex tasks using command line tools experience.
• 5+ years of work in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans experience.
• 4+ years of (non-internship) scripting, programming, and security code review in common programming languages experience.
• Knowledge of at least two of the following programming languages: Scala, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
