AmTrust Financial Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our Information Security team. This role shapes security strategy, designs enterprise-class security solutions, and helps implement across cloud and on‑premises environments.

You will collaborate with IT, architecture, and business stakeholders to embed security from design through delivery. The position offers mentoring of junior staff, development of security standards and reference architectures, and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of information security engineering or related roles.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale security solutions.
• Hands-on with SIEM, EDR, IAM, PAM, DLP and firewalls.
• Strong cloud knowledge (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid identity.
• Familiar with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI, SOX, NYDFS.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and integrating security technologies at scale.
• Evaluate and recommend new security tools and services.
• Translate security requirements into designs, diagrams, and plans.
• Collaborate with infra and applications teams for secure deployments.
• Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and reference architecture.
• Mentor junior security staff and promote security awareness.
