Job summary

New Belgium Brewing in Colorado seeks a Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security across cloud platforms, networks, applications, and OT environments. You will partner with IT and engineering teams to embed security into systems and processes, align with risk posture, and support regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include risk assessments and threat modeling, IAM management, vulnerability scanning, incident response, and developing runbooks and architecture diagrams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, information systems or equivalent.
• 7+ years in an information security role with hands-on experience in at least two domains: enterprise architecture, OT security, or IAM.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design security architectures across cloud, networks, applications, and OT environments.
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Manage identity and access control systems and privileged access.
• Perform security assessments including vulnerability scanning and segmentation analysis.
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, runbooks, and response procedures.
• Automate security processes using scripting languages and tools.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations to embed security into designs and lifecycles.
• Stay current on threats and evaluate new tools for adoption.
• Support internal/external audits and enterprise security initiatives.
• Promote security awareness and secure-by-design principles.
