Job summary

8090 Solutions is hiring its first Lead Security Engineer to own application security, cloud security posture, and compliance across the Software Factory and 8090 Enterprise. You will report to the CEO and work with the CTO and engineering teams to secure customer environments and drive security strategy.

This hands-on role requires building CI/CD gates, performing penetration testing, and directing external vendors and auditors.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineer role; initial team not managed.
• Experience designing security for AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and FedRAMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the secure development lifecycle and CI/CD security gates.
• Perform internal and third‑party penetration testing and vulnerability management.
• Lead security architecture, compliance programs, and audits.
• Partner with sales for security reviews, RFPs, and customer trust materials.
• Automate security with AI and DevOps tooling.
