Job summary

Oshi Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own the security of our cloud-native platform. You will build security into engineering and AI workflows, shaping how we protect PHI and ensure robust security across AWS and SaaS environments.

You will lead threat modeling, secure design reviews, and non-human identity management, while evolving detection, response, and vendor risk assessments. This is a hands-on, builder-focused role with significant impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years in security engineering with cloud security (AWS).
• Experience in healthcare/regulated environments is a plus.
• Hands-on with SDLC tooling: SAST/DAST, GitHub Advanced Security/CodeQL.
• Strong IAM: Okta, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, MFA.

Responsibilities

• Own application and product security, focusing on access-control and secrets exposure.
• Design security architecture for agentic software development lifecycle.
• Build and run non-human identity and secrets management at scale.
• Secure AWS environment end-to-end: IAM, network, logging, encryption.
• Enforce security tooling: CodeQL, secret scanning, CODEOWNERS.
