Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced Engineer for information security with a strong focus on infrastructure security architecture. The role requires hands-on management of secure network infrastructure, including hybrid cloud connectivity and secure data center designs.

Candidates should demonstrate expertise in Zero Trust, cloud-native security models, and secure design patterns, with excellent communication skills and ability to lead security initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of information security experience, focused on infrastructure security architecture.
• Hands-on experience securing network and IT infrastructure in large organizations, preferably in the CPG industry.
• Deep understanding of network security architecture, segmentation, and secure design (LAN/WAN/WLAN).
• Experience implementing Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA), including micro segmentation and identity-centric access controls.
• Hands-on with next-generation firewalls (NGFW), intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure web gateways.
• Expertise in remote access solutions, and secure connectivity for hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience designing secure network topologies for data centers, cloud environments, and hybrid networks.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native security models, shared responsibility, and secure design patterns (hub-and-spoke, landing zones, hybrid connectivity).
• Knowledge of cloud network security, including VPC/VNet architecture, routing, private endpoints, peering, load balancers, API gateways, WAFs, and cloud-native firewalls.
• Strong leadership and project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-solving and strategic mindset.
• Willingness to stay abreast of new technologies and continuously update skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shifting priorities.
• Experience in conducting and analyzing research on a wide range of security issues.

Salary Range-$100,000-$140,000 a year
