Join a leading fintech company, Robinhood, that's democratizing finance for all. As a Senior Security Engineer on the Credit and Money Security team, you’ll play a key role in protecting Robinhood and its customers while empowering the organization to achieve its business goals securely and efficiently. You will work directly with business and engineering teams to understand and secure the products and services offered by Robinhood Credit and Money.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct comprehensive security reviews of new and existing products and features, recommending remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure security requirements are met and standard methodologies are followed.
• Research new and emerging security threats to the business and provide recommendations on strengthening the security posture.
• Cultivate a security subject matter expertise within the business you support.

What you bring:

• Deep understanding of system and application architecture, with the ability to assess security vulnerabilities and identify areas for improvement.
• Experience facilitating code reviews and recommending remediations identified in SAST/DAST reports.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and the unique challenges in securing them.
• Ability to think like an offensive engineer to inform blue team methodologies.
• Ability to use data for compelling story-telling on our security risk maturity and growth.
