Job summary

Google's Security team seeks a Security Developer to help protect networks, systems, and data across Google Cloud and Mandiant operations. You will work with software engineers to harden environments, monitor for intrusions, and drive the resolution of complex security incidents.

This role is part of Google Cloud’s security efforts within Mandiant, focusing on threat intelligence, verification, and rapid response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling.
• 5 years of coding in one or more general purpose languages.
• 1 year of experience leading teams or leading technical risk analysis.
• Experience with SQL or Python to automate tasks and interact with data.
• Experience with attacker methodologies and hunting adversarial activity across data sources.

Responsibilities

• Lead research into how threat actors are using and abusing AI models.
• Hunt for threat activity across data sources and develop automatable signal logic.
• Develop scripts/automations to collect and process data for intelligence analysis.
• Identify opportunities to disrupt, mitigate and remediate threat activity.
• Draft intelligence reporting for internal use and public content.
