Responsibilities:
- Associate threat intelligence data with vulnerability data to provide an end-to-end view of remediation progress and burndown;
- Design and maintain data pipelines, stored procedures, and databases, troubleshooting data gaps and quality issues;
- Use statistical tools to interpret large data sets for predictive analytics;
- Develop security insights to ensure system configuration compliance, improve software hardening, and automate notifications for slippages and compliance;
- Communicate insights and strategies to senior management and leadership;
- Engage in new challenges from high-level interactions and ensure follow-through;
- Participate in creating an internal portal for security data presentation, self-service remediation, risk documentation, and analytics automation;
- Establish data pipelines across security teams for trending and pattern analysis, such as remediation diligence and coverage indicators.
What we're looking for:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent foreign degree;
- 3+ years of experience in data retrieval, analysis, and automation using SQL, Python, R, APIs, and security tools like Qualys, Prisma, MySQL;
- Experience in ensuring data quality, automating data pipelines, developing reports and dashboards with Tableau, and stakeholder communication;
- Proficiency in developing analytical frameworks, working with large datasets, cross-functional collaboration, and implementing data governance frameworks such as CIS, FTC, PCI DSS;
- Experience in project management, scripting, and programming to automate reports and build data pipelines;
- Telecommuting flexibility, with no travel required.
