Job description

These positions require a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
New positions coming - available June 2025.

Need a challenge in your work? Want to make a positive impact on U.S. National Security?
We are building secure systems, networks, and enclaves to support the Intelligence Community’s most serious challenges – come be a part of it!

SecureTech Assessors make a difference every day in support of the nation's Intelligence Community:
We typically perform daily tasks such as:

  • Analyze design specifications, design documentation, configuration practices and procedures, and operational practices and procedures.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations.
  • Conduct verification and validation for security compliance of low and moderately complex information systems, products, and components.
  • Provide identification of non-compliance of security requirements and possible mitigations to requirements that are not in compliance.
  • Validate the security requirements of information systems.
  • Verify and validate the system meets the security requirements.
  • Provide vulnerability assessment of the system, coordinate penetration testing, and provide a comprehensive verification and validation report (certification report) for the information system.

To get started in this exciting opportunity, you need a TS/SCI clearance with at least a CI polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Engineering or related field.
- At minimum, five (5) years of relevant experience in security, systems engineering or system assessment to include recent experience within the last three (3) years in the following areas: Cybersecurity principles and technology, including access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, PKI, network and enterprise security architecture.
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, four (4) additional years of related experience may be substituted.
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAT II (Security+ CE, GSEC, CCNA, CND, CySA+, SSCP, GICSP).

- There are multiple opportunities for SCAs at various levels of experience – compensation is commensurate with experience.

Why come to the SecureTech family?
- We consider employees first in business decisions. It is hard enough to work through the personal/social/technical hurdles that come with your position as a cleared defense contractor - no need to fight your own employer's red tape as well.
- We offer a compensation package that is more than just commensurate with this closed contractor community. We offer generous benefits (PTO, training support, etc) in addition to the generous salaries. We know that you know - salary isn't everything.
- SecureTech is an Equal Opportunity Employer – we hire the right people for the job - regardless of employment status such as female, minority, protected veterans, individuals with disabilities, etc. Our concern is that you are qualified for the position, and that you are placed in a position in which you can be successful!
