Specialized Security Services, Inc. in Plano, TX seeks a Senior Assessor to lead cybersecurity assessments and compliance engagements for diverse clients. You will evaluate controls across PCI DSS, ISO, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA, advise on risk mitigations, and translate technical findings into business guidance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in information security governance, risk, and compliance, with PCI QSA preference and hands-on audit experience. Growth-minded and client-facing role.

Competenze

• Five+ years of Information Security experience in governance, risk and compliance.
• PCI QSA preferred or ability to obtain QSA status.
• Hands-on security assessor or IT auditor experience for commercial clients.

Mansioni

• Lead and perform cybersecurity assessments, audits, gap analyses, readiness assessments and formal engagements.
• Assess controls for PCI DSS, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR, NIST, FedRAMP and related frameworks.
• Support privacy engagements and familiarity with GDPR/CCPA or similar frameworks.
• Conduct threat/risk assessments and business impact analyses across systems and data.
• Develop and implement enterprise security architecture and supporting standards.
• Perform technical security reviews to ensure policy compliance.
• Act as a client-facing GRC consultant on engagements and translate findings into business guidance.
• Obtain additional certifications as cybersecurity landscape evolves.
