Job summary

I O DATASPHERE is seeking a Security Compliance Analyst to support the integrity, security, and compliance of retirement benefits systems for public sector clients. The role collaborates with cross‑department teams to enforce state regulations and governance requirements, delivering secure, reliable services to stakeholders and citizens.

Hybrid role with on-site presence required two days per week, strong emphasis on documentation, audits, and DRP development, and ownership of security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
• Experience with security governance and risk management
• Experience documenting security controls and compliance
• Knowledge of public sector security standards and audits
• Experience in DRP development and testing
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and validate security processes and interagency interactions.
• Define and refine security and compliance requirements for system enhancements and policy updates.
• Create audit-ready documentation including security requirements and workflows.
• Support testing phases (UAT) to verify security controls and compliance.
• Lead security posture improvements and governance activities.
• Monitor project milestones to ensure alignment with security objectives.
• Develop training materials and deliver security/compliance education.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Produce data-driven reports for compliance monitoring and risk tracking.
• Provide informal leadership and promote best practices in security and risk management.
