Job summary

Liberate is hiring a senior security engineering leader to build and own the security function around its production cloud infrastructure and DevOps tooling. You will define the secure design, automate controls, and lead the security program across identity, access, data protection, and compliance.

You will drive threat modeling, secure design reviews, vulnerability management, and security telemetry while collaborating with platform, product, and success teams.

Qualifications

• Senior infrastructure or security engineer with hands-on production cloud experience.
• Proficient with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform or similar IaC, CI/CD, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of IAM, network security, secret management, and multi-tenant architectures.
• Proven ability to lead security programs or shape security as a function in a fast-growing company.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve production cloud foundation (AWS, Kubernetes, networking, storage).
• Build reusable Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service deployment paths.
• Define and implement secure SDLC, tooling, and code/secret management controls.
• Lead vulnerability management, penetration tests, and third-party reviews.
• Drive security telemetry, runbooks, and structured incident response.
