Job summary

Fortra, LLC is seeking a skilled automation and data analysis professional to advance security operations through Python scripts and modular automation. You will analyze processes, meet with stakeholders to define requirements, and deliver quick proofs of concept to demonstrate measurable efficiency gains.

The role demands strong SQL data analysis, Flask experience, and Python packaging/CICD knowledge, with 3–4 years in cybersecurity. On-call support is part of the duties.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 2-3 years of software development experience.
4-5 years of data analysis experience leveraging SQL.
Understanding of joins, indexes, query optimization and relational table design.
4-5 years of scripting experience in Python.
Experience with Flask, creating libraries, Python packaging and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Develop scripts and applications in Python.
Analyze data and processes to identify automation opportunities.
Meet with stakeholders to define requirements and provide time estimates.
Develop quick proof of concepts to vet ideas.
Produce metrics showing automation impact.
Monitor applications and troubleshoot errors.
On-call support as needed for applications.
