Job summary

Leidos seeks a Security Authorization Lead to drive RMF/ATO for L-CAP within the Air Traffic Business Area. You will own authority artifacts, coordinate with FAA security teams, and translate requirements into engineering backlog items in a SAFe environment.

The hybrid role requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for Public Trust. You will advance FedRAMP and cross-ART compliance across four trains, delivering secure workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity/CS/IT with 6+ years of cybersecurity or security authorization experience; Master’s with 4+ years also accepted.
• Experience leading a federal information system through RMF to ATO or equivalent.
• Experience developing and defending authorization packages (SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, boundary diagrams).
• Experience with FedRAMP cloud control inheritance and vulnerability management.
• Strong writing for government-facing security documentation and interactions with reviewers.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF/ATO processes for L-CAP workloads on government cloud infrastructure.
• Own and maintain the security authorization package and evidence artifacts.
• Define security control inheritance across cloud, government, and Leidos layers.
• Interface with government reviewers, ISSOs, assessors, and Authorizing Official staff.
• Manage POA&Ms and continuous monitoring lifecycle with remediation milestones.
• Maintain authorization boundary as architecture evolves and translate requirements to backlog items.
• Coordinate cross-ART compliance across four Agile Release Trains.
• Support FedRAMP and agency-specific authorization requirements across clouds.
