Sound Transit is seeking a Security Assurance Analyst to support its Information Security program. The role conducts system audits, vulnerability management tasks, and security control configuration to ensure major systems comply with internal controls and industry requirements.

The position requires expertise across security frameworks, incident response, and governance documentation, with hybrid work and a 5-year term. A bachelor's degree and multiple security certifications are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or closely related field required.
• Five years of IT experience focusing on IT Security, Risk Management, Data Protection or Compliance.
• CISA, CISSP, Security+ or GIAC, CCOA, ISC(2) Associate or equivalent certifications expected.
• Experience with security auditing, vulnerability management and governance documents.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct security reviews of systems and applications to ensure compliance with internal requirements and industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Support audits of agency-wide applications with evidence collection and validation.
• Lead/manage penetration testing, code analysis and segmentation testing.
• Perform system-specific vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking.
• Translate security policy into actionable product-level requirements.
• Support incident response activities and advise on security controls.
