Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead cloud infrastructure security, automation, and secure AWS platform engineering in Reston, VA. This hybrid role requires guiding security standards across AWS environments using Terraform and policy-as-code.

You will partner with engineering and security teams to implement scalable cloud security controls, review Terraform modules, and ensure secure deployments from design through production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud security, cloud architecture, or platform engineering within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on Terraform module development, infrastructure deployments, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
• Experience with policy-as-code frameworks such as Sentinel, Open Policy Agent (OPA/Rego), or Checkov.
• Strong AWS expertise, including IAM, KMS, VPC networking, logging, and cloud security architecture.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Security Architect to support a company focused on cloud infrastructure security, automation, and secure AWS platform engineering. This position is hybrid (3 days onsite per week) in Reston, VA. The Senior Security Architect will define, implement, and enforce cloud security standards across AWS environments through Terraform and policy-as-code frameworks. Join a team responsible for building the security guardrails that protect enterprise-scale cloud platforms and ensure secure AWS deployments from design through production.
