Job summary

Prestige Staffing is seeking a Senior Security Architect to design and enhance security across cloud environments, apps, and infrastructure. You will focus on cloud security posture, IAM, API security, and embedding security into DevOps.

The role requires senior-level expertise and leadership in a dynamic setting. You will lead vulnerability management, threat modeling, and secure pipeline integrations, while promoting zero trust and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of security experience, with at least 1+ year in a senior or lead capacity.
• Proven hands-on experience securing AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Familiarity with CNAPP/CSPM platforms and cloud security tools.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, patching, and remediation processes.
• Experience with application security principles (SAST, DAST, SDLC).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Terraform).
• Understanding of Zero Trust architecture, network segmentation, and cloud networking.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC, or ISSAP preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support secure architecture pattern implementation across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Drive cloud security posture enhancements through integration of CNAPP with native cloud tools.
• Collaborate with Security Operations and development teams to embed security controls into pipelines.
• Lead vulnerability management, patching, and threat modeling initiatives.
• Support IAM, PAM, and least privilege access models implementation.
• Assist in security architecture reviews, threat assessments, and design validation.
• Integrate telemetry into SIEM platforms and support security monitoring efforts.
• Develop and maintain secure configuration baselines and reference architectures.
• Promote a zero trust security culture across engineering and product teams.
• Stay current with security trends, threats, and emerging technologies.
• Partner with engineering leaders to incorporate security into product roadmaps.

Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Security Architect to support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security architecture across cloud environments, enterprise applications, and infrastructure. This role will focus on enhancing cloud security posture, identity privilege models, API security, and integrating security into development pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud security, vulnerability management, and zero trust principles, with a passion for tackling complex security challenges in a dynamic environment.
