Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related work experience.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise firewall platforms (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto).
• Experience with Palo Alto Panorama for centralized policy management.
• Familiar with DLP, SIEM, NIDS/NIPS, HIDS/HIPS, and endpoint protection.
• Strong firewall hardening and least privilege design.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing review of systems to detect network access, intrusion, information integrity, and NERC CIP risks.
• Investigate network security events and perform root-cause analysis for recurring incidents.
• Review and monitor firewall rules to identify risks and ensure policy alignment with security standards.
• Recommend and implement firewall rule tuning and remediation actions.
• Collaborate with network, OT, and security teams to design tested security changes with minimal business impact.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to firewall policies, standards, and review procedures.
