Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 years in a SOC/Incident Response role.
• Active security certification: CEH, OSCP, CPTE, CISM, CISSP.
• Experience with event analysis using SIEM tools; log parsing and analysis; developing/refining correlation rules.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and support endpoint security software.
• Investigate security events to identify breaches and remediation steps.
• Respond to daily service issues to minimize downtime.
• Operate SIEM technologies, including rule creation, reporting, correlation, and performance monitoring.
• Execute automation playbooks to support automated incident response investigations.
• Leverage threat intelligence sources to stay current on threats and actor capabilities.
• Integrate threat feeds with the organization’s security monitoring infrastructure.
• Use Continuous Testing framework to design and deploy tests for monitoring controls.
• Identify tools to baseline activity and alert on suspicious activity.
• Support development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
