Job Description

The Senior Security Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring security solutions supporting over 7,000 teammates across 650+ locations. The role focuses on network, cloud, firewall, and remote access security. You will help define, develop, and enforce security policies and best practices organization-wide. This role is primarily remote, with some travel for projects, partnerships, team-building, and training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud and network systems for security issues, incidents, and breaches.
• Install, configure, and maintain security software/hardware such as firewalls, SIEM, SASE, CASB, VPN, endpoint protection, and network monitoring tools.
• Research and evaluate emerging security technologies and trends; recommend suitable solutions.
• Oversee SOC operations, ensuring security incidents are acknowledged and resolved per established playbooks.
• Use data-driven approaches to identify opportunities for quality and process improvements within Ivy and SOC.
• Provide security guidance and mentorship to IT teams, SOC, and business stakeholders on security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a security analyst or similar role.
• Experience with cloud security platforms like Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and relevant certifications.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, switches.
• Experience with cloud tools like Microsoft Sentinel, SASE (Cato), Zscaler, Sophos Central.
• Understanding of security standards such as NIST CSF, CIS.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications like CompTIA Cloud+, Network+, GSEC, GCSA, CISSP, CISM are a plus.
• Experience in NOC and/or SOC is desired.
