Job summary

Chainguard is seeking a Staff Security Analyst (Governance & Trust) to lead the compliance and trust program. You will run external examinations (SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials) end-to-end, manage audits, and respond to customer security diligence.

The role includes third-party risk management, and coordination with cross-functional teams to maintain evidence and controls. You will mentor analysts, refine processes, and advance a unified controls catalog across frameworks.

Qualifications

• Lead the compliance and trust function within Governance & Trust
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and other sector/regional certifications
• Strong ability to interact with auditors and customers

Responsibilities

• Run external examinations end-to-end: calendar, requests, sample fulfilment, auditor calls, readiness ahead of cycles
• Own customer security diligence including questionnaires, audits, and Trust Center content
• Lead third-party risk management program: vendor intake, assessments, and critical supplier registry
• Define questionnaire responder and vendor triage outputs; maintain the validated answer bank and ensure high-quality outputs
