Job summary

onX seeks a Senior Security Analyst I to lead security operations, incident response, and application/vendor security. You’ll build automations, work with the SRE team in GCP, and help advance SOC 2 compliance while educating the company on secure solutions that enable the business to move quickly.

You’ll report to the Director of IT and Security and will be pivotal in maturing a growing security program across our Bozeman office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security operations, incident response or related security roles.
• Experience tuning and operating SIEM/EDR platforms and leading incident response.
• Working knowledge of vulnerability management and application security testing.
• Clear written and verbal communication with leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on security operations, incident response and application/vendor security.
• Lead incident response, including major incident judgement and post-incident analysis.
• Support SOC 2 Type 2 by gathering evidence and responding to auditors.
• Develop automations to reduce manual security operations and evidence collection.
• Collaborate with SRE and engineering to secure cloud and apps in GCP.
