Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC seeks a Senior Security Administrator to protect mission-critical systems and sensitive information at Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on leading security design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise security programs in a regulated environment.

Overview

Nightwing provides advanced full‑spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services to meet our customers’ most demanding challenges across the intelligence, defense, civil and commercial markets. The company is seeking a Senior Security Administrator to protect mission‑critical systems and sensitive information.

Location

Annapolis Junction, Maryland

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of enterprise‑wide security systems and protocols.
• Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems in alignment with federal regulations, agency policies, and industry best practices.
• Provide expert‑level guidance on security policy development, system hardening, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Operate independently on mission‑critical and high‑visibility initiatives, ensuring security objectives are met without compromising performance.
• Serve as a technical leader by mentoring and overseeing junior staff and coordinating the efforts of personnel on specific security initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating complex security requirements into actionable solutions.

Minimum Requirements

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience performing security duties aligned with this role (or an approved qualifying substitution).
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance required.
• IAT LevelII certification compliance (required).
• Proven ability to lead security efforts in complex, regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards, risk management frameworks, and enterprise security architectures.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative security team.

Additional Requirements / Clarifications

Applicants must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance. Please note: This position is contingent upon award. An active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: $122,000 – $253,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Compensation will be determined based on skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
