Job summary

Akima Global Technology (AGT) is seeking an Adjudication Analyst II to review investigative reports and determine an individual’s eligibility for DOE access. The role requires conducting personnel security interviews (PSIs) and frequent travel to NNSA sites.

You will prepare correspondence, SSCs, and case evaluations, ensure compliance with applicable laws and DOE orders, and testify during administrative reviews when needed. A bachelor’s degree and DOE Q clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 1–3 years of experience in analyzing data for a personnel security program.
• Completed the professional development training related to Personnel Security at the DOE National Training Center.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing data and resolving discrepancies with clear adjudication recommendations.
• Written products must be professional, accurate, and grammatically correct with 95%+ accuracy.
• Knowledge of personnel security theories, techniques, and practices to evaluate substantial derogatory cases.
• Proven ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Able to obtain DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Complete professional development training related to Personnel Security proficiency.
• Assure completeness of investigative coverage and prepare detailed case histories and evaluations.
• Ensure all written outputs are professional and error-free.
• Prepare case evaluation summaries for investigations, reinvestigations, and related documents.
• Prepare correspondence for administrative review, including SSCs, and testify when required.
• Ensure SSCs for administrative review comply with laws and DOE orders.
• Enter data into required personnel security databases.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
