Job summary

MUFG Trust and Banking Corporation, New York Branch, seeks an experienced operations professional to join the Securities & Derivatives Operations team. The role supports a broad range of capital markets activities, including trade settlements, collateral management, reconciliations, and control processes.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, Technology, and external market participants to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of securities settlement and/or derivatives operations.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a controlled/regulatory environment while managing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end processing for securities and derivatives products (settlements, lifecycle events, collateral, margin, reconciliations).
• Investigate and resolve operational issues with internal and external partners.
• Prepare and review risk and management reports for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain procedures, control evidence, and process documentation.
• Assist audits, risk assessments, and business continuity activities.
• Contribute to system changes and process improvements.
• Analyze issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Promote knowledge sharing and resiliency within the team.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as needed by management.
