Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Secure Software Engineer for 100% remote work in the United States. You will embed security across the software development lifecycle, partnering with engineering teams to design secure systems, identify vulnerabilities, and reduce risk across our application portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, deep security expertise, strong software fundamentals, and a proven track record of shipping security improvements in production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years in application security or security engineering.
• OWASP Top 10 knowledge and vulnerability classes.
• Code review across at least two major languages.
• SAST/DAST/SCA and CI/CD security tooling.
• Auth, authorization and cryptographic primitives.
• Cloud security and infrastructure controls.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in at least one language for tooling.

Responsibilities

• Embed security across the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with engineering teams to design secure systems and identify vulnerabilities.
• Reduce risk across the application portfolio through security improvements.
• Balance offensive and defensive security with strong collaboration.
