Job summary

Xage Security is seeking a software developer to champion the design of information security products for IoT. You will shape distributed, secure architectures and contribute to the deployment and reliability of zero-trust solutions across IT/OT/cloud.

The role emphasizes C++/Go/Java, networking proficiency, and hands-on experience with security protocols, crypto, and large-scale systems. Lincoln-based on-site opportunity with competitive equity and visa support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development in networking using sockets, packet tracing, client/server.
• In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, VPN, IPSec, DPI.
• Working experience on development frameworks such as Zeek, OVS-DPDK, Strongswan.
• Fundamental working knowledge on multi-threading programming, inter-process communication, socket programming, high performance and low latency programming.
• Expert coding skills in C++/Go/Java-based secure coding, vulnerability assessment, threat analysis.
• Hands-on experience with application protocols HTTP, SSH and core concepts on Authentication, certificates, TLS, etc.
• Experience in crypto, PKI, Microservice architecture and large scale infrastructure.
• Strong debugging using tcpdump, wireshark, gdb, valgrind.
• Strong communication and system-level Linux knowledge (Ubuntu/Alpine/Red Hat).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects and initiatives and ensure high quality of deliverables.
• Define, develop and maintain the deployment process and tools for Xage solution spanning across IT, OT and Cloud environments.
• Provide ongoing support and improve system health and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and adopt best practices for scalable, distributed systems.
