Bcore in Herndon, Virginia is seeking a Senior Software Developer / A&A Engineer to join our mission-focused team. You will design and secure enterprise applications, perform A&A tasks, and collaborate across Agile teams to protect client assets.

The role emphasizes C#/.NET, Java, and other OO languages, with a strong chance to grow in secure software engineering, risk assessments, and compliance. You will work with AWS/Azure, CI/CD tools, and contribute to authorization packages in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
6+ years of software development with 2+ years in security engineering/A&A.
Strong proficiency in OO languages such as C#, Java, Kotlin, or C++.
Understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with SDLC, source control, testing, and integrations.
Knowledge of A&A processes, risk assessments, and compliance.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and services.
Develop readable, secure software and review code for security considerations.
Perform security assessments and complete A&A related tasks.
Collaborate with customers and team members to clarify requirements.
Maintain documentation and participate in planning, reviews, and releases.
Support existing applications and assist with risk and vulnerability management.
