Job summary

You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver NLP, vector search, and personalization features that improve relevance.

Strong leadership and communication are essential as you guide cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS or related field.
• 5+ years in search engineering.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong understanding of modern search technologies and frameworks.
• Experience building low-latency API in AWS with memory-storage solutions.
• Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Advanced experience with GitHub and version control.
• Experience operating in an Agile/Global team.
• Experience with OpenSearch, ElasticSearch, SOLR, Lucene, Coveo, LucidWorks Fusion.
• Strong crawlers and web parsing experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the long‑term technical vision for the search platform.
• Participate in technical reviews, share best practices, and collaborate with search engineers.
• Assist in developing NLP, vector search, and personalization features.
• Support KPIs and use analytics to optimize search performance.
• Work with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to align search with business goals.
