Job summary

SpaceXAI seeks a Software Engineer to design and build scalable search infrastructure powering subscriptions and monetized products. You will work on mission-critical systems processing millions of transactions, optimizing user growth and creator monetization.

Responsibilities include end-to-end operation of production services, incident response leadership, and shaping the technical direction of core search infrastructure while maintaining high performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems
• Proficient in high performance Rust, C++ or JVM-based languages
• Hands-on experience with search and indexing technologies (Elasticsearch, Lucene)

Responsibilities

• Design and build large scale search infrastructure with real-time indexing, serving, and data pipelines
• Deep dive into search internals and shape direction of core search infrastructure
• Operate production services end-to-end including monitoring, debugging, incident response, and optimization
• Lead incident responses and contribute to postmortems with a high bar for quality
