Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr Search Engineer to join our AI Search team and help advance capabilities as we migrate to a search-first platform. This role involves working closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to improve search functionalities and user experience. The Search Engineer will implement scalable solutions for search-related challenges and ensure the system's performance and accuracy.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize search features, including NLP, semantic search, and machine learning-based relevance ranking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate search functionalities into various applications.
• Analyze and optimize search performance metrics, including relevance, speed, and accuracy.
• Implement machine learning models to enhance search capabilities.
• Conduct regular testing and debugging of search systems to ensure reliability.
• Monitor and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in search technologies and incorporate them into existing systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in search engine development and information retrieval.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Strong understanding of search algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with search platforms like Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application in search systems.
