Qualifications

• Experience in seafood processing, food production, agriculture, field work, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Education: No prior training required.
• Special Training/Skills: basic reading, simple arithmetic, and ability to handle weights.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, scraps, trims and fillets product.
• Opens and moves raw materials to belts.
• Segregates product by grade, color, size; places in containers.
• Discards inferior items and foreign matter.
• Packs product for storage or shipment.
• Operates machines to move seafood on conveyors.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in the workspace.
