Job summary

Peraton Labs is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer (SDN / Multi-Enclave) to lead secure design and sustainment for network architectures across multiple enclaves. You will guide security planning, risk activities, and policies, supporting a MD-based government customer in enforcing trusted cross-domain relationships.

This role requires full-time on-site work near College Park, MD, with deep SDN expertise and security compliance experience within government programs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or 16 years total experience may be substituted.
• Solid background in SDN, security compliance, and DoD programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate secure multi-enclave network solutions.
• Implement system-level security to meet mission and compliance.
• Lead risk assessments and document mitigations.
• Enforce trusted relationships across external systems and architectures.
• Engineer SDN architectures with strong access control.
• Install and harden secure network infrastructure.
• Develop security artifacts and diagrams for compliance.
• Perform root-cause analysis and fix actionable issues.
• Provide guidance and participate in reviews and change control.
