Job summary

Global Payments is seeking an experienced SDET Specialist to join our Technology Engineering team. You will drive test automation, ensure quality and performance of payment solutions used by millions of transactions worldwide.

You will partner with engineers, product teams and business stakeholders to shape testing strategy, implement scalable frameworks and accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of reliability and security.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems or another technical discipline; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Typically a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software testing and automation.
Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, TDD and BDD.
Experience developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, test suites and quality processes.
Ability to analyze complex problems and influence technical decisions through collaboration.

Responsibilities

Drive quality across the software development lifecycle with functional and automated testing.
Develop scalable test frameworks and automation solutions to improve code quality and reliability.
Own the continuous testing strategy using insights and performance data to improve delivery.
Champion innovative testing practices to increase automation and product quality.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to validate complex business and client requirements early.
