Job summary

Post Acute Analytics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to drive test automation and quality across our platform. You’ll partner with QA engineers, software developers, product managers, and information security to ensure our software meets the highest standards for reliability and security to serve our patients and customers.

This highly collaborative role blends quality strategy with scalable technical execution, process change, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on test automation and quality engineering.
• Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Python.
• Deep experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright or similar.
• Strong API testing experience (RESTful APIs, GraphQL).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating test automation in CI/CD frameworks (GitHub Actions preferred).
• Solid understanding of relational databases; ability to write complex SQL and test data shapes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and training resources.
• Own end-to-end test strategy for the platform across functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with the engineering team.
• Conduct load, stress, and performance testing for high-throughput processes.
• Mentor QA engineers and drive engineering-wide testability best practices.
• Perform root cause investigations and close the loop with new automated coverage.
